Where Will I Find Material for my Blog?

If you’re a prolific author, you will have several dozen articles that can be repurposed to start posting on your blog . The rest of us struggle.

· Create a daily or weekly Google Alert on several keywords in your niche. Refine the keywords as you progress.

· Use the Trending feature of Twitter. You’ll know up-to-the-minute what’s happening in your niche and be able to comment on your blog before most of your audience is aware it’s an issue.

· Report on a recent Conference you attended

· Link to another blog post and comment. Find another recognized expert in the field. Do you agree or disagree with the point of view? It’s more powerful to disagree, or put your spin on the material presented.

· Invite guest bloggers. You’ll attract their blog audience too. Make an agreement to submit an article to their blog.

    Bonnie,
    Thanks, very valuable tips.

Can you expand on how to use the Trending Feature of Twitter? Is it a download? How do you set it up?

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Isabelle ;-)

You can use twist http://www.twist.com their home page show trending topics.

You can also use the search feature of twitter http://www.search.twitter.com/ the trending topics are displayed on that home page also.

you can use the search feature of twitter to search for hashtage items. If a twitter user wants to start a conversation for all users they create a hashtag and add it in their entry #coalition is trending right now.
