Writing Your First Posts
Before writing your first few blog posts, plan your overall blog message. Start with a few longer posts to set a foundation. Familiarize your readers with your point of view and what your blog is all about.
Set aside a specific time to write your blog posts. Some authors choose to write two or three posts at a time and others feel comfortable writing only one at a time. More importantly, you should get into the habit of writing regularly and consistently.
Start with subjects you’re comfortable with and that interest you. What message do you want to convey to your readers? How can you engage your audience?
Near the end of each post, include an action item and ask a question. Encourage your readers to comment on your blog posts, and engage in a conversation with them when they do.
