Jen De Tracey: Hi, it’s Jen De Tracey the founder of Lift Strategies, one of Canada’s Top Marketing Strategies and the author of the book Lift Strategies- Quick Tips to Engage Customers and Elevate Profits.

Today in this week’s quick tip, I want to talk about … It’s not really a reset button and it’s not a marketing tip. It’s about to how to perform better in your business so that you can think clearly marketing wise, so you have the confidence to make the sales call or go to your events or just be in a better head space during your days so that you can have a larger window of tolerance.

It’s amazing when you have a larger window of tolerance, how you deal with things better. I know, I deal with a lot of technology issues and just even with these videos sometimes before doing them, there can be a lot of problems and it can take sometimes an hour to resolve and it can be stressful and then I have to come on camera and be all peppy.

If I’ve had a good beginning to my morning where I’ve had a chance to do some stretching, I’ve eaten something, I drank some water, I’m well hydrated and I have done meditation.

If I can do all of that in the morning, then my window of tolerance is like way bigger and it makes a huge difference. Brendon Burchard talks about this in his course and probably in many of his courses and probably in his books too. I’ve done his Confidence Course and it’s a great course, it’s not that expensive. If you’re interested in learning about building confidence, I will include a link to that down below. I think it’s a good resource for you and I have found that to be beneficial in my life.

I already had a routine but what he did is he reinforce the importance of what he calls taking back your morning and doing that routine ideally everyday so you feel better about yourself and so you’ve done something for you and your cup is more than half full versus half empty. That way, when situations arise during the day or you’re feeling challenged, you have more … I don’t know, sting power, more vitality.

That’s my perspective. He doesn’t really talked so much about that but that’s what I believe to be true. He talks about how you can be more confident in the world and that’s true. How can you be more confident in the world?

When you feel grounded and you feel that you have a bigger window of tolerance, you have more confidence. You stand taller and feel more engaged with others. That’s what I wanted to talk about today is have a routine in the morning. Set that routine, make it as regular as possible.

You will find that that will make it easier for you as you work through your day to have just, you’ve given to yourself first and you’ll feel just better. It will raise your level of confidence. It will give you the energy you need to make those sales calls or sends your emails or have the conversation you’d have or just be more present for your customers and be happier and feel more joy.

These are all good reasons. That is this week’s quick tip. Like it, write a message below, comment, share the love and check out Brendon Burchard’s course, The Confidence Course. Again, I’ll put a link below. We’ll see you next week. See you on the other side of next week. Take action this week so you can feel more grounded and focused and able to manage your week at an optimal level.
