Give More Value During Challenging Times

There are a great number of business associations and chambers that provide marketing and/or lobbying services to their members. As a professional speaker, I am often asked to speak at association events across Canada.

Last Monday morning, I was in Hope, B.C., presenting my new keynote speech, “Get Your Business Rockin’…Building A Loyal Fan Club During Challenging Times”. This event was hosted by the Hope Chamber of Commerce.

I was particularly blown away by the commitment of the Hope Chamber of Commerce to help their members sustain and gain their businesses. The Hope Chamber recognized the value of bringing me in to present to their members. They also recognized that the “Five Marketing Essentials To Getting 50% More LIFFT For Your Business” full-day training program would benefit local businesses.

Because of the Hope Chamber’s commitment to support their members and provide exceptional value, they chose to subsidize 27% of the event’s budget, host the venue and provide lunch. If that isn’t going above and beyond, I don’t know what is.

What are you doing to provide exceptional value to your top customers? After all, your top customers are your number one fans.
